Hello !
 It seems like I have been absent for a few months, but gladly I can say I am here, ready to provide the information on topics ranging from PTSd, TBI to just life as an Army wife mother, employee , grad student yes second time around. Anywho, life continues to throw me curve balls some dodges have been fun others challenging but one thing I have to point out is that it all took FAITh, HOPE and tons of LOVE!!!

I would love to provide you with all the details but details are so overrated and boredom sets in so at this point I will chose to pass on those cool details.  So at this stage in our military life counseling is the upmost best, the VA has been a blessing , did you hear me....THE VA  ( VETERANS ADMINISTRATION) has been great the US ARMY and family.  Some veterans are not ready to take on certain issues on your time and i have learned that as a caregiver I have learned as difficult as it is to let the veteran make some hard dissions it helps them feel they are in control and with injuries some aspect of their life has lost it's control and the veteran is seeking somecontrol. As a caregiver it is very hard to sit back and watch some bad choices made but it has to happen in order for healing to take place. My soldier is by all means not healed and I have come to realize he NEVER will be but I have to accept life as it is and always rememebr to take care of me in the process. And learning this has healed  me in a way i cannot expalin, I have a strong faith and this has healped and just reaching out to people I realize that  I am not alonein all this. I have sought out help from the VEteran's caregiver program wow1 I cannot say enough  about how wonderful they are without them i would be alone or feel a bit helpless. I attend conferences, workshops and stay in touch with my counselor to help when I think it is needed. I suggest if you see yourself needing help reachout to the Veteran's caregiver program they are hands  down wonderful. Thank you VA hooah!

Happy Tuesday! Its amazing how I have been too busy to pen my thoughts, sorry. Haven't lost focus nor abandoned my thoughts or readers have been busy ...work, life, caregiving and finally truly attempting to care for me. Yay!
Working many hours but it's been a blessing beyond belief. My caregiving has improved my soldier is coming around slowly but surely. Been celebrating life with the family as tired as I am its still good to spend time with fam and accomplish my goals. Deals unfortunately, been too busy to shop like I have been but will manage to provide deals later this week.

Wait and See.........

Wait and see ...good things come to those who wait. Well... I can say I had a long talk with God or have been all my life and more so within these few years about his plan for me/we /us where is this plan leading me. I am able to say I cannot necessarily see the future but can begin to understand and accept where it might be leading me.  I can begin to smile a bit ,feels liek I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, yet am cautious  becasue I do not want to lead myself into some unrealistic expectation yet be hurt by the outcome. Negative thinking right, perhaps but I  have to guard my heart.  Sucks I tell myself. But each day I am challenged to remove those barriers and continue to trust god more and more each day as he holds the key to everything. So with that said, I thought I was going to have to struggle and be left without food and clothing for my household, once again God comes thru from unexpcted sources and the military is finally paying my soldier his incap pay he has been due for the past five months although it's only two months they are paying him it's better than nothing  AMEN ! Yes I can say those words. Iam truly blessed and each day God continues to show me how blessed our family truly is, I can recognize it and some days I have to continue to convince my family we are blessed but and the end of the day we all say thank you God for the challenges and we know we are truly blessed and youi never give us more than we can handle. I pray you too can be touched with  a strong faith, hope and sincere love for yourself and the family.

Hot deals ! Yep  I found a great one, I hope that you registered for the Tanget Outlet  membership $10 a year pays off I tell you. I just got a text telling me to head to their mall tomorrow to pick up my $10 giftcard, what $10 is like $20 in my world I am so there plus since this month is my bday I score yet another giftcard for it being my bday month yippee ! more money for me to spend on me ! Adjusting just fine

Hello It's Sunday. Been a busy week writing this with one eye open the other shut tight. I am exhausted, had to take hubby to Er Friday.... migraines yes TBI and the PTSD can give a soldier a headache this tiem a whopping gynormous one doctors orders no marijuana , no crazy movements just take the prescribed meds I have given you. This ought to  releive the pain you are experiencing. Marijuana what? oh yes the soldiers are believing this drug of choice works for them... hmmm we say it does't t some argue it does what do you think? I think it's a crock of BS , I find it an excuse to take a drug and state you  have a marijuana card and you get he right to do this crap legally.   Can we try something else??? Perhaps  yoga, relaxation techniques and finding our selves versus taking yet another drug and putting it in our system and calling it a relief. had a chat with a nurse she tells me Mju is great for cancer patients when they are on their death bed. Then  there's the issue that mj causes testicular cancer. Ugh , why are people  choosing this drug to claim it helps releive their pain,  why not choose a few drinks of vodka this releives pain too , it will make you pass out for a few hours  then you feel no pain . Same effect right but at least you do not risk being put in jail or being high when you are talking to your family. I find these acts irresponsible, can people finally take responsibility for their actions and chose to make smarter choices if not for themselves at least for their families? Wacky world we live in.

I love a great deal.  Another choice might be to visit your local restaurant with your emntertainment coupon you can use you BOGO coupons I will be using mine buy myself a meal and get my lil guy one for free, yippee!

Caring for the Caregiver; the Heroes’ Hero. Yeah! Recognition is great,especially as I eel the world on my shoulder today. this weekend took a toll out of me, I had no idea it would hit me in the manner ti has. I am trying to get myself back up to make clear decisions and function as I should. I am working today therefore, this is a huge help, chatting this over with my Momy was also a blessing. Having a conversation with God has helped too. My soldier cannot really comprehend what's going on and what is transpiring which makes this all to difficult to deal with at times .....sigh .  Anywho please readthe above article it's beneficial for anyone who is a caregiver, soldier , wie , average joe, just read it.  Have a great day!

Sunny Sunday at the park, our local park . There were families everywhere  it was great to see families together enjoying the day. We had to be at the park, yep, it was a have to occassion which I did not mind. We had pizza with our Scout Den it was soo much fun, I even got our lil one to go outside and play and get sweaty yay! In this day and age video games and tv have seem to defeat me on my war on fitness but NOT today.  Our trip to the park included our dear ol soldier aka Dad /Hubby we had fun. But the crowds got to him PTSD creeps up and BAM! a different person emerges, darn it PTSD!  get a hold of yourself let me have my soldier we deserve that, oh well, he did have to retreat and have some down time. We let him have his much needed time and went to church while there, more excitement a lady fell to the floor... yep, ANXIETY attack she was immediatley rushed away by the paramedics , (umm sorry no cute ones to gawk at, geez after all I was at church and am married. hehehe). The lady will be okay they say .  As will our family, as this PTSD continues to try to gain control of things the key to a loving family is to know how to react when this monster attacks, you have to have  a backup plan and try to keep smiling  if not smile  learn to roll with the punches , it has not been easy to learn this but we are getting there. Whatever you do try to not give up, I try not to daily but with much faith , hope and tons of love I am getting thru this.   And to those who are dealing with this  I know you can hang on for the ride , your partner was chosen for you and its a ride we have to learn to deal with  and in the process learn from all the curves and bumps on that ride.

It's that time again...

Yes, it's the  new year  so Hellloooo 2013 , and I embrace you like non other. I can feel the fresh air the feeling of something new, the time for positive changes and loads of good cheer. I am of course a military wife, been thru alot of challenges over the past year and some of you have been on this rollercoaster ride with me. Well, I have removed a few layers and have accepted a few changes and am moving forward along with my child.  My soldier is in the medical hold unit getting the care he needs I have also found this great program that is able to assist military families ans mostly the wives  whose hubbies  are needing specific care as mine does. I am so greatful to God, this country and the employees that have been so awesome in getting us thru these challenges. I have found the VA Caregiver Program to be something all OIF/ OEF caregivers to look into.  www.va.gov/caregivers . 
If you do nothing this year  and if this seems to apply to you, checkout the Va website full of info about this program and others that might benefit military families.

I also  discovered by sheer accident a cool product line  Melaluca which by the way, I am now a rep of this organization. I was never really one to be bothered by chemicals in some of the cleaning products well , I suffered a major setback  from one of the products the other day and have lost wight , had respitory issues and hives, so i have decided to convert to Melaluca's conversion kit which is pricey but I have managed to budget for only the items I  need  for a mere $50.00 I will post the pics when I get my package.  So with that said, sometimes in life,  things don't always go as planned and we have to make a change .
